Hi all: I am preparing this on the front porch of our camp at Mallets Bay. Air temperature 76, water 70 still! Below is proposed schedule for clearing the back country trails: Two groups each day, dogs welcome except on lift! Sun. Sept. 16 Upper trails using lift, Heavenly Highway, Paradise Pass, Moose Glen etc. Snow hole, North Slope, Birch Loop, Gardiner's Lane, JJ's, Alpine Clem continued: Sat. Sept. 22 Spruce Run, Goat Path, Telemark
Cliff Hanger, Eagles Nest, Fox Hollow
Sat. Sept. 29 Doggie Trails, Jake's, Lower Lane Sat. Oct. 6 Brook Run, Georges, Raven's Wind (CTA - Bolton Trapp) We will meet at the Nordic Center at 9:00 AM except when we do the Doggie Trails we will meet at Timberline parking lot. Our thanks to Larry Williams for his cooperation.
Saturday, Oct. 20 will be wrap-up day when we will do a scattering of trails not yet done, including lower Jake's, Tele Showoff, Lynx and others Ann will rembember. A good opportunity to make up a third day trail clearing. Note: *10:00 AM Zeke: Nice to hear from you. How about Tuesday the 23rd. We could meet at the nordic center [Smugs] at 10:ooam. In case of pouring rain, we will re-schedule; for sprinkles/sleet/snow or otherwise unsettled weather, the trailwork goes on!
