With complex dynamical systems, falsification becomes difficult because of the web of interactions between so many variables and and because so many of them are remote from observable operations (Bridgman’s haziness; Oreskes’ ease of tweaking the system; Duhem 1906; Stewart’s alternate criteria for rejection of theoretical variables; Abraham).
