Conclusions
Operationism nonetheless provides useful criteria of scientific meaningfulness. If one admits that physical and mental operations (including theory) of the observational community are inextricably involved in all operational definitions (Bridgman), then these operations must all be functionally related to observable events (MacCorquodale & Meehl, others).
